On offer is a framed, mixed media Canada goose in flight painting by Ruth Melichar (1906 - 1997) of Boise, Idaho. The painting is in excellent condition. The external frame measurement is 7.6" by 5.2" with a frame depth of 0.8". Ruth was a renowned individual, known as "The Bird Lady of the Treasure Valley". Ruth rescued many birds and to this day there is the Ruth Melichar Bird Rescue Center.
