Original impasto oil/acrylic painting on canvas depicting a sunlit European lane, probably a Mediterranean village. Whitewashed buildings crowd a narrow street, with figures walking toward the distance and a lone figure in the foreground. Bright flowers spill from a balcony, and a hanging street lantern and wagon wheel add charm and movement.
The artist has used a heavy palette-knife technique, with thick, textured strokes and lively color contrasts—sky blue, warm ochres, and splashes of pink, green and white. Signed lower right with a wheel motif and the name “Teyia” (or similar).
Presented in its original ornate gilt wood frame with linen liner, bearing a label on the back from The Dutch Art Gallery, Dallas, a long-standing regional art gallery and frame shop. Ready to hang.
