Vintage 1970s Early Laurel Burch & Shashi Singapuri Gold Vermeil Sterling Silver Cloisonne Enamel Orchid Earrings
These unique early production Laurel Burch enamel earrings are one of the first designed and produced by the collaboration of renowned artisan Shashi Sinapuri and Laura Burch between 1974 and 1978, from which Laurel, Inc. was later born.
These collectable Art Nouveau style enamel earrings were also part of a line which landed the cover of Vogue magazine twice as well as other fashion magazines. A must for avid Laurel and Shashi collectors.
- Size: approximately 3/4" inch tall
- Earring style: Drop style.
- Earring back: Hoop European Leverback for pierced ears.
- Color: yellow, orange, blue and green.
- Material: Gold vermeil over sterling silver, cloisonné enamel.
- Crafted by hand.
- Very good vintage condition, consistent with age. Please see photos.
