The Cassell National Library published an enormous collection of miniature books at the end of the 19th-century hundreds of popular titles and topics. From 1886 to 1889 it issued 209 weekly volumes.
This is a COLLECTIBLE pocket-sized book! Nicely decorated book with gilt on the covers! Includes cool antique advertisements on the inside covers and on the first and last few pages of the book.
The Christian Year is a series of poems for all the Sundays and some other feasts of the liturgical year of the Church of England written by John Keble in 1827. The book is the source for several hymns. It was first published in 1827, and quickly became extremely popular.
