For sale is a beautiful set of four (4) vintage oval platters by Mayer China in the iconic "Madras" pattern. Produced in Beaver Falls, PA, these are heavy-duty, vitrified restaurant ware pieces designed for durability and classic mid-century style.
Design: Features the distinctive Madras geometric border with alternating rectangles of lime green and mustard yellow. The vibrant colors are perfect for a retro or mid-century modern (MCM) kitchen.
Condition: Very Good vintage condition. The top surfaces are glossy with very light signs of use. There are minor "flea bites" (tiny nicks) on the unglazed bottom rims of the plates. These are strictly on the underside and are not visible when the plates are sitting on a table. See photos. No cracks, deep scratches, or staining.
