This is a huge and exquisite example of Oscan Mexico folk art. At a whopping 18 inches long and 9 inches high, it is a very large piece. It has a few flaws to mention, the noticeable one being the damage on the tip of the tail. It would be easy to camouflage with paint, but I will leave that choice to the new owner. Its tongue is loose and can come out. It has a missing piece or plug on top of its head. There seems to have been a toe repaired at some point, though it's very hard to see unless upside down. This piece is carved in such a way that it looks like it is leaning to the side, but stands on its feet perfectly! Masterful carving! See pics for condition and measurements. Smoke free home.
