Book is signed by Robert K. Douglas following the preface of the book. Illustrated beautifully the 1685 surrender of Russia to Chinese is the first one shown. Maps are used through out for a visual of the different territorries in China. Rich in history all had to be compressed in order to keep the book from being a million pages. The book covers up to the 1905 with later editions updating the present history. Read the struggles and victories China has gone thru.
