Sterling Silver Sun Hopi Button Cover 925 - Native American sign - old stock from the Tucson Gem show late 80's - function properly - patina from age on inside only as shown. Measure 7/8 inches across. Condition minty on outside - might use a rub but some folks like it like that so I will leave that to the new owner.
Thanks to my new friend Donna - The symbol is actually the Zia symbol of the Sun. The symbol originated with the Indians of Zia Pueblo in ancient times. It's design reflects their tribal philosophy, with its wealth of pantheistic spiritualism teaching the basic harmony of all things in the universe.
