I am selling a nearly new Pilot Custom 74 (M).

This is a fundamental and essential fountain pen, the cornerstone of Pilot's Custom series.

It's the most affordable gold nib pen in the Pilot lineup, but I saw one at Maruzen recently priced at 30,000 yen.

The "74" in the name signifies that this masterpiece was released to commemorate the 74th anniversary of Pilot fountain pens.

It features a 14-karat gold nib and is available in a wide range of versions.

The M (medium) nib width provides a comfortable thickness, allowing for smooth writing.

The Pilot Custom 74 was launched as part of the Custom series in the 1970s, celebrating Pilot's 74th anniversary. It's often introduced as the perfect first gold nib pen for beginners, but its high level of completion makes it a pen that could very well be your last! (^◇^;)

It's the origin of the Custom series, alongside the Pilot Custom 742, Custom 743, and Custom 823.

The Pilot Custom Urushi is also based on the 74.

Personally, I collect Montblanc 149, 146, Pelikan M400, M600, and M800 pens, but the Custom 74 is the one I own the most of.
