Early Starter Sportswear era, dated 1988 with licensed © MLB mark. 100% cotton, cardinal red, oversized front graphic, single-stitch sleeves & hem. Tagged M 38–40; classic late-’80s boxy M. Starter woven size/content tag (RN 67819, New Haven CT), USA made, period single-needle hems, licensed print. Condition : soft hand and even sun-fade; expected print checking; a couple micro pinholes at sleeve hem + tiny pair by collar; a few faint body marks. No repairs or structural issues. See macros. True late-’80s Starter MLB tees are significantly rarer than ’90s runs (Salem/Logo7). Strong team graphic from the Whiteyball era; great reference piece for Starter/MLB collectors.
