1920/30s H.E. Luhrs Co Cardboard Embossed OWL Halloween Wall Hanging Decoration

This embossed cardboard cutout was made in the U.S. A. by H.E. Luhrs Co. and distributed by Beistle (nka The Beistle Company Decorations). Beistle introduced Halloween-themed products in the 1920s; it is the oldest continuing manufacturer of decorations and party goods in the U.S. This perched Owl is in good condition with minor wear: The ears have slight creases, where the Owl and branch meet on the right side has a slight rip, on the same side a small piece of paint is missing in the orange. The hanging hole has minor paint loss at the bottom; raised areas are more subject to wear. Item shows various wear from age and use (creases, small areas of paint/paper loss).
